Each piece is unique

Our Oak boards with double-sided tree edge are lovingly handcrafted from high-quality solid wood. To achieve the desired width, the oak board is individually glued from continuous lamellas. It is a purely natural product, which we manufacture from solid oak. This gives each piece its individual character and rustic charm. The typical characteristics of oak wood are retained:

naturally curved tree edges
light sapwood on the edge area
light to dark brown heartwood
unique grain and colour behaviour
characteristic wood mirror and knots

Dimension: length: at choice / thickness: approx. 22 mm / depth: at choice

Surface treatment: at choice raw, oiled or lacquered.

Due to the naturally curved tree edges, the total width of the oak board may deviate by +/- 3 cm. The thickness may also vary minimally.

Material:

Oak is a very stable wood, with hard surface and long durability. This makes it ideally suited for a wide variety of applications in interiors and exteriors. Each piece has its own individual appearance. The vivid grain, cracks and knots give you a product with a rustic and authentic look.

The oak wood is technically dried to approx. 8-12% and therefore free from vermin and pests. The solid wood boards are dressed on one side. The downward-facing tree edge side is planed and sanded. The tree edges are debarked and sanded over.

Application:

Excellent for indoor and outdoor use.
Most suitable for creative DIY projects such as furniture pieces, worktops, wall decorations, wardrobes, etc.

Treatment:

Hardwood can be worked easily and cleanly with conventional tools.

The surface treatment chosen:

Rough surface:You can subsequently finish the untreated surface as you wish, by staining, oiling, glazing or lacquering.

Oiled surface: A treatment with wood oil intensifies the natural oak tone, the surface appears warmer. The oil also protects the wood, making it more resistant to dust, dirt and moisture. The wood retains its naturalness and remains breathable. The natural structure and grain of the wood even come into their own as a result.

Lacquered surface: An additional lacquering of the surface, offers optimal protection against dust, moisture and sunlight. The natural structure and grain of the oak wood are fully preserved.
