Our rustic oak tree edge boards with tree edge on both sides are unedged, debarked and planed on one side. It is a purely natural product made from a single piece of solid oak wood - exactly as the trunk has grown. Each piece has its own character and its rustic look gives it a special aura. All the typical properties of oak wood are retained, making each board unique:

- Naturally curved tree edges
- Light sapwood on the edges
- Light to dark brown heartwood
- Unique grain and individual color behavior
- Characteristic wood mirror and knots
- Natural cracks and wormholes for the authentic look

200 x 30 - 35 x approx. 2.5 cm
As each board is cut from a grown tree trunk, the width can vary between 25 and 30 cm. In addition, deviations of +/- 3 cm in the overall width are possible due to the natural nature of the wood. The thickness and length may also vary slightly - however, the ordered length will not be undercut under any circumstances.

Material:

Oak is a very stable hardwood with a robust surface and long durability. This makes it ideal for indoor and outdoor use. The surface is untreated and emphasizes the natural character of the wood. The lively grain, natural cracks, knotholes and wormholes create a rustic and authentic appearance.

The oak wood is technically dried to approx. 8-12% moisture content, making it free from vermin and pests. The boards are unedged, debarked and dressed on one side. The side of the tree edge facing downwards is planed.

Processing & treatment:

Hardwood can be worked cleanly with conventional tools. The untreated surface can be individually finished - by staining, oiling, glazing or varnishing. We recommend suitable structural wood protection, especially for outdoor use.

Note: To prevent the wood from warping, surface treatment should always be applied to all sides.
