NORDIC B, the ultra-matt colored paint in Pigeon Blue based on aqueous bio-acrylates for furniture, doors & kitchen fronts, stair coverings or skirting boards. The trend-conscious colors for indoor use are easy to paint, roll & spray and are ideal for wood, melamine resin boards, MDF and plywood. Also suitable for children's furniture & toys.

The ultra-matt finish combines the natural look of a chalk paint with the durability of a varnish. Because Nordic B is basecoat & topcoat in one product and therefore saves you time and money.

The 15 ultra-matt shades are highly opaque - with just two coats of paint. The NORDIC B colored paints come with an amazing gloss level of less than 5 gloss. The matt paint finish diffuses the light, further enhancing the dull matt effect. The soft-touch matt surface with anti-fingerprint effect literally invites you to touch it: whether powder-matt kitchen fronts in country house style or children's furniture in hygge colors: The paint series creates a feel-good atmosphere in your home.

Environmentally friendly & mild-smelling: With the NORDIC B colored paints comes a new generation of colored water-based paints in premium quality, which are characterized by sustainability and high performance. They contain the highest proportion of biogenic raw materials, which are made from plant alcohol esters from pine and castor bean. In addition, only mineral color pigments are used, which are characterized by high lightfastness and UV stability. The environmentally friendly water-based paint also complies with the EU Decopaint Directive, is harmless to humans, animals and plants and complies with DIN EN 71-3 (safety of children's toys) and DIN 53160 (saliva and sweat fastness).

Processing and care

Surface preparation:

Sand the wood surface professionally. Final wood sanding for furniture P150-180. Wood moisture content 8-12 %. The substrate must be firm, dry, clean, non-slip, load-bearing and free of release agents. Apply the material at room temperature. Sand down non-load-bearing, e.g. flaking old coats and grayed wood down to the load-bearing substrate.

For higher loads, optionally process with B-component OLI-NATURA Hardener 13.5. Carefully mix the two components A and B in a ratio of 20 to 1. NORDIC 2K can be processed for a maximum of 3 hours after mixing.
