OLI-NATURA furniture wax nourishes the wood and creates a velvety feel, as well as a patina that deepens over time. It not only makes the surface water-repellent, but also prevents dirt from penetrating the wood. Really old or trimmed to look antique, whether untreated or open-pore oiled or waxed, whether stained or painted with chalk paint: »OLI-NATURA furniture wax« is suitable for all types of wood. The wax has a pleasant subtle scent.

OLI-NATURA furniture wax is made from 100% real beeswax and carnauba wax and other proven raw materials using traditional methods. On the use of fragrances (terpenes), preservatives, formaldehydes, aromatics and cobalt salts are deliberately avoided. The wax is VOC-free and complies with DIN EN 71-3 (safety of toys) and DIN 53160 (saliva and sweat fastness)

The application

The preparation: Before you get started, the piece of furniture must be clean and free of dust and grease. If this is an initial treatment, it is advisable to finely sand the surface beforehand using 180 to 240 grit. When caring for furniture or post-treatment, grinding is not necessary.

Processing: Always impregnate in a warm room. This makes the wax softer and smoother and easier to work with. Apply the wax evenly and in small circular motions with a soft, lint-free cloth cloth or roll of cloth. Do not use too much or too little wax. Depending on how well the pores of the wood are open, the wax will soak in more quickly or more slowly. Be patient and allow the wax to dry thoroughly. Finally polish the surface thoroughly with a soft cloth. You can achieve a special shine with a white polishing pad. It is better to opt for several thin applications and let the wax dry well in between. This is how the result will be way better.

The surface is dry and dull? Is the water resistance declining? - Now it should be cared for!
So that the waxed piece of furniture does not lose its charm, it must be cared for and cleaned regularly. dust and adhering dirt can be easily wiped away with a dry or slightly damp, but never wet, cloth. The surface should be waxed from time to time. How regularly the wooden surface has to be maintained depends on various factors from: What kind of wood is the piece of furniture made of? How often is it used? What hardships will it be subjected to?

Drying: The final strength is only reached after a few days. During this time, please do not clean with a damp cloth.
