Environmentally friendly water-based paint based on bio-acrylate
The water-based bio-acrylic-based furniture and staircase paint creates dull matt surfaces with a raw wood effect. The original color tone of the background remains almost unchanged on light coniferous wood and oak. The matt lacquer surface of less than 5 gloss does not tend to gloss and presents itself as evenly dull matt from all viewing angles.
OLI-AQUA NORDIC is very solid (>40%), can be easily brushed, rolled or sprayed and is very easy to sand. In the wet phase, a milky veil develops, which disappears completely in the course of drying and for one extraordinary raw wood effect. The environmentally friendly raw wood effect paint delays the natural yellowing process and is free of aromatics. It has a nice gradient and a good stand, which is more vertical, especially with spray painting parts is vital.
The OLI-AQUA NORDIC conforms to the EU Decopaint guidelines and fulfils the fire protection class DIN EN 13501-1. The hardened material is harmless to humans, animals and plants. It corresponds to DIN EN 71-3 (Safety of children's toys) and DIN 53160 (saliva and sweat fastness).
The application
Preparation: Carefully sand the wood surface, start with coarse sanding, final sanding for furniture surfaces with 150/180 grit. Wood moisture: 8-12%. The surface must be dry, thoroughly cleaned and free from oil, wax, grease, silicone and sanding dust be. Process material at room temperature. Shake or stir the contents of the container well.
Processing: Apply the varnish evenly and generously with a brush or flat brush in the direction of the grain. Leave the surface to dry for at least 90 minutes. Now apply the dried varnish in the direction of the grain with grit P220-P280 sanded. Dust the surface well. Then evenly and generously apply the second application of varnish with a brush or a flat brush.
Consumption: 2 applications, 80-100 g/m² per application (10-12 m²/l).
Drying: Depending on the humidity and temperature, the surface is: dust-dry after 45 minutes, sandable after 90 minutes and fully resilient after 5-8 days. During this time, treat gently and protect from water.
