.Our Oak panels with tree edge and edged on one side, are lovingly handcrafted from high-quality solid wood. It is a purely natural product, which we manufacture from one piece solid oak - just as the trunk has grown. This gives each piece its individual character and rustic charm. The typical characteristics of oak wood are preserved and may be present:
- naturally curved tree edges
- light sapwood at the edge area
- light to dark brown heartwood
- unique grain and colour behaviour
- characteristic wood mirror and knots
Dimensions: length: 35 cm / thickness: approx. 2,2 cm / depth: approx. 25 cm.
Surface treatment: lacquered
As this is a naturally grown solid wood product, the depth of the shelf may vary by +/- 3cm. Likewise, the thickness and length may vary minimally - but in any case you will not receive a shorter piece than ordered.
Oak is a very stable wood, with hard surface and long durability. This makes it ideal for a wide range of applications in interiors and exteriors. This natural wood product brings natural character. At the same time, each piece has its own individual appearance. The vivid grain, cracks and knotholes give you a product with a rustic and authentic look. The solid wood boards are dressed on one side. The downward-facing tree-edge side is planed and sanded. The tree edges are trimmed, sanded over and trimmed on one side. Each shelf is unique and is made to order.
Application:
The product is neither pre-drilled nor pre-prepared for special fastening material or supports. This allows it to be used universally for a wide variety of applications and your creative projects such as wall shelving, window sills, etc.
Treatment:
Hardwood can be machined easily and cleanly with conventional tools.
Surface treatment:
