Our high-quality skirting boards are made from a single piece of solid oak wood, just as the trunk has grown. This creates a very natural and harmonious image in the wood and color structure, for a pleasant room effect.
The solid oak skirting board combines noble design with highest stability and ensures the perfect transition between wall and floor. Oak wood also offers other positive properties such as robustness, durability and longevity. Oak wood is considered to be very resistant and resilient and has a great look thanks to its intensive grain.
The untreated slat: You have the option of using the solid wood slat untreated, or you can simply finish it yourself afterwards. By staining, smoking, glazing or varnishing, you can design the skirting to suit your requirements.
The oiled skirting board: In the configurator, you have many different oils to choose from, so you can select exactly the oil that suits you. Treatment with wood oil intensifies the natural oak tone, giving the surface a warmer appearance. The oil also protects the solid wood slats, making them more resistant to dust, dirt and moisture. The wood retains its natural appearance and remains breathable. The natural structure and grain of the wood are particularly accentuated by the oil.
The lacquered skirting: The additional lacquering of the surface offers optimum protection against dust, moisture and sunlight. The natural structure and grain of the oak wood are completely retained. We also offer treatment with raw wood lacquer, which combines the advantages of lacquering with the modern raw wood look.
