The DilaTec expansion joint system is ideal for use on screed joints or wherever tension in the floor needs to be compensated. The plastic expansion joint strips can be easily replaced. Due to the co-extrusion of hard and soft PVC, they have optimal expansion behaviour. They safely absorb stresses from the substrate - without cracking or to separate from the profile.

Application:
The expansion joint profile is used for all floor coverings to bridge expansion and construction movement joints. The profile is laid out so that it lies exactly over the joint in the subfloor so that the floor joint can continue to move.
.Assembly:
Bonding: . Use a two-component or cast resin adhesive or an adhesive with particularly high adhesive strength. After gluing the profile, pull off excess adhesive smoothly. Please follow the manufacturer's instructions. Make absolutely sure that no adhesive penetrates into the floor joint.
Filling in: You can also fill in the profile using suitable filling compounds. Note always select the profile so that the height of the profile corresponds to the floor covering plus the filler. Once the adhesive has hardened, the floor covering can be cut to fit the profile. We recommend using this profile only in conjunction with glued floor coverings
