Wellness for wood
OLI-NATURA wood care oil based on natural oil is recommended for all open-pored oiled furniture, stairs and floors made of wood and cork. The oil has the positive properties of penetrating deeply and quickly into the wood and thus renewing the protective effect. The natural wood tone regains its depth of color and the pores are filled with oil again, making the surface dirt- and water-repellent. Naturally unsaturated fatty acids nourish the wood and support its regeneration. By the way, resource-conscious people will be pleased that the care oil should be applied sparingly. Of course, you do not need to treat your parquet or furniture every week with the care oil. Depending on the type of wood and use, it is sufficient every few months.
The wood care oil is based on modified vegetable oils such as linseed oil, medical-grade isoparaffin and lead-free and cobalt-free drying agents. We consciously avoid the use of critical substances such as preservatives, formaldehydes, aromatics, biocides, cobalt salts and oximes.
The hardened material is harmless to humans, animals and plants. It complies with DIN EN 71-3 (safety of toys) and DIN 53160 (resistance to saliva and perspiration).
The application:
Preparation: We recommend dry cleaning and damp cleaning with wood soap before any maintenance. Let the surface dry completely. Shake the container well before use.
Processing: Soak a white pad or cotton cloth with the wood care oil and massage into the wood. Remove the excess after a maximum of 10 minutes with a dry cotton cloth/oil absorbent cloth. No excess oil should remain on the surface. For large areas, you can apply the wood care oil thinly and evenly with a sprayer or wiper. After a maximum of 10 minutes, massage in the excess with a white pad by hand or with a polishing machine. Remove any excess with a cotton cloth/oil absorbent cloth.
Consumption: Depending on the application and the absorbency of the substrate, 10-20g/m² per application.
Drying: Allow the surface to dry for at least 12 hours before use. Do not wipe with a damp cloth for the first few days.
Note: Cloths/pads soaked in oil can self-ignite if heat builds up! Therefore, clean them immediately after use or store them under water. The product itself is not self-igniting.
