The LED stair nosing 219 was specially developed for dryback coverings with a thickness of up to 3 mm . The covering is glued into the profile on the step so that only the 2 mm narrow stop edge can be seen from above. The LED stair nosing 219 can be processed on profiled, undercut steps as well as on block steps .
The stair nosing profile 219 has an LED channel that emits light downwards. The step below is optimally illuminated.
This is not only for safety, but also creates a cozy atmosphere.
The LED channel can be equipped with commercially available, self-adhesive LED strips up to 10 mm wide. Note : These are not included in the scope of delivery.

The LED stair nosing profile 219 is preferably used when the step and riser is to be provided with a up to 3mm thick floor covering . The profile was provided with a 3mm high recess especially for this purpose on the step surface and below the LED channel.
The floor covering can now be laid down to the edge of the step and under the LED channel.
There remains frontal only an approx. 17.8mm thick aluminum edge visible.
Assembly:
The profile is screwed onto the step edges mentioned above using suitable dowels and countersunk screws to fit precisely onto the existing steps above the laid floor covering. Make sure that there is some space for possible cables for the
LED lighting .
A translucent flap that is clipped on is available as an option to close the LED channel. It is not absolutely necessary to use it. The LED diffuser can be ordered separately.
